               Can UFOs Cause Air Accidents

Pilots have been seeing unexplained things outside their cockpit windows since the dawn of aviation.
One of the most legendary examples happened near the end of World War II when both Allied and German pilots reported seeing fiery glowing objects that followed their planes and then disappeared in wild maneuvers.

The sky phantoms were nicknamed foo-fighters (long before the 1990s alternative rock band), and thought to be secret military weapons.

There is a legendary case of a military aircraft crashing during a UFO pursuit. In January 1948, four P-51 Mustang fighters were rerouted to check out an object described as one fourth the angular size of the full moon (the diameter was estimated to be 300 feet, but this can't be calculated without knowing the object's distance). The P-51s broke off the pursuit except for one pilot Thomas Mantell who climbed to 25,000 feet without oxygen, blacked out, and spiraled to a crash landing.

As is symptomatic of UFO hyperbole, this story has been embellished with claims the UFO was gigantic and metallic, and it perhaps used a space weapon on Mantell to keep him away. The incident was a game-changer for belief in UFOs at the time. UFOs could shoot back! The simplest explanation is that Mantell was chasing a silver 30-foot diameter secret Navy high altitude balloon. (Another secret balloon probably crashed in Roswell, New Mexico in the summer of 1947, but that’s another story.)

Yes, there are decades of pilots reporting oddball lights in the sky spooking them, and even a New York Times best-seller entitled: "UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go on the Record." But there has never been a corroborated report of a truly exotic vehicle of obvious extraterrestrial construction (something more than a blob, a Frisbee-looking thing, or other primitive geometric shape) ever being seen in broad daylight and up close.

                          Bamboo Phone

At the beginning of this year, the tech company ADzero announced that they are going to release  bamboo mobile phone in 2012.

The phone is made from treated organic bamboo and has 16 GBs of storage as well as an 8-megapixel camera with a shadow-minimizing feature. It will run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich and has a 1.4 GHz Samsung Exynos quad-core processor. From laptops to bicycles, bamboo is becoming a trend. It's has been a pretty popular choice among designers looking for a sustainable, yet durable choice for creating new things.

However popular the material, the ADzero phone still needs funding. Which is why they mentioned a soon-to-be started Kickstarter campaign. To get a phone, donors must give at least $500, which is apparently an "Early Bird Special" of $200 off of the original retail price.

This announcement was made on Friday, but there was no specific release date announced for the phone or when the actual campaign would start. If you're in the market for a sustainable phone and have the extra dough to spend, keep an eye out.

That is exactly how awesome phone should look like. If rich people searching for phone which would make them look according their status in society, then they definetely would buy that phone. I personaly get bored of phone design.

Two Months Until the Mayan Doomsday Nonevent

As Most of the people already believe that world is going to end in October 21st, 2012. Why would they think that it's true. Apparently the old civilization called Mayans located in Central America had an ability of predicting a future, who existed approximately between A.d. 250-900.They had calendar which is suppose to end in December 21st, 2012 . People try to prove it to everyone maybe because they have no money and they want to get some by selling books, describing reasons for Doomsday.

I don't necessarily believe in 2012 doomsday but it certainly makes me a little bit worried, I mean who wouldn't be after hearing exact date when they are going to die. Specially when there are facts. I mean its pretty weird that Mayans calendar ends in December 2012, but the thing is, people never foud that Mayans predicted that there is going to be the end of the world, people just logically decided that its means that world is not ging to exist by that date.

Giant Eyeball Likely Belonged to Swordfish

This huge eye ball was found on the beach in Florida (USA). Biologists suggest that its swordsfish eye. By looking at its structure and color the most simular underwater animal happens to be swordfish but its very rear to that swordfish reaches that kind of size, judging by size of this eye ball scientists also suggest that it might be huge octupus which usually live deep underwater on the the bottom of the ocean

            Felix Baumgartner's Iconic Jump

The Red Bull Stratos mission carried Felix Baumgartner to an altitude of over 128,000 feet -- 8,000 feet higher than planned -- when the daredevil took the plunge into thin air. Despite a minor issue with Baumgartner's visor causing it to fog up unexpectedly, the ascent progressed as planned. The New Mexico weather even allowed a picture perfect ascent over Roswell. After the event, it was deduced that Baumgartner traveled in excess of Mach 1.4 (1.4 times the speed of sound) -- or 833 mph (1,342.8 kph).

I like reading about world records because it gives understanding of what human ability really is. It gives you an inspiration that if you try hard anything is possible. The world is full of good man but people who try hard they do it because they dont wanna be good man they want to be the great one. What Felix Baumgarther done is showing pure courage and greatness. 'Magic Finger' Swipes Smartphone Remotely

Now controling desvice with touch screens is availible on distance for all who has a smartphone or tablet. This smart device is called "Magic Finger." The following gadget was showed for a first time at ACM Symposium on User Interface Software and Technology, and it was created by group of students from the University of Alberta, University of Toronto and Autodesk Research. The Magic Finger is a gadget which goues right on the tip of your finger (whatever finger you use to swipe the screen) and has sensitive rubber bottom which transferes all swipe movement into your device. The signal will be transfered correctly if you use it on glass cover surface.

In my opinion this is very original nad smart device, and it will sell out pretty easily because everything that makes peoples life easier most of the time succesful product.

Is Gliese 163c the Most Habitable Exoplanet?

A newly discovered alien planet may be one of the top contenders to support life beyond Earth, researchers say. The newfound world, a "super Earth" called Gliese 163c, lies at the edge of its star's habitable zone -- that just-right range of distances where liquid water could exist.

"There are a wide range of structures and compositions that allow Gliese 163c to be habitable planet," Xavier Bonfils, of France's Joseph Fourier University-Grenoble,
He went on to caution that several possible uninhabitable combinations exist as well.

I was amazed the first I read this article, because

                                         9/11 surfer's story

After a terrorist attack concentrated on World Trade Center there were just a few people survived. One of this surviviors is  Pasquale Buzzelli  which was working on the top of the floors of the Globe trade center. He was on the one of the floors which were aproximately the middle of the tower, which makes it even harder to believe that he survived after huge half of the bulding falled on him but before that he also was falling down from ther height of 100 meters.

'Meteors' sighted in skies across UK

Meteor seen in skies at Maam Cross, Connemara, Ireland

People from UK reported seeing bright light in the sky, which looked like falling star. Brian Guthrie in Grangemouth said that '' I've seen shooting stars and meteor showers before, but this was much larger and much more colourful."
Howard Parry spotted a "stream of light" while looking out to sea from his caravan in Llanrhystud in Ceredigion at around 23:00. He said "I thought first of all it was a plane going down then I thought what the devil is it? Scientist say that it was probably space junk
because meteors have much more speed, and they produce less light. They say that there also possibility that this space junk was human made, and it's returning back where it came from, so in case if its true than there is going to much more and bigger junk that will eventually fall on earth

Meteor close-up from Northamptonshire

For me this is one of the most interesting because no one knows even 1 % information about space there is so much more stuff to explore, and so may galaxies which may include planets with life on them. No one sure what was this flash of light, it might of bee meteor, space junk, UFO. I like listening stories about UFO, because there are so many people talking about it, ad trying to prove it that it make many people to wonder if its true. One of the most discussed international topics is Space, why? because there is infinite number of mysteries

                                             The Luminaid

Two years ago there was earthquake on Haiti which damaged all power lines, destroyed many houses leaving many people with out their homes and electricity, so they would spend nights in the darkness without seeing anything.

Andrea Sreshta the student of Columbia University in New York who was putting a special effort towards master degree in architecture
"Lighting was something that seemed a little bit overlooked," she said. So for a class project on designing around disaster, Sreshta teamed up with classmate Anna Stork, who had a background in engineering. Together, they decided to create lighting for the thousands of Haitians living in the so-called "tent cities" that sprang up around the country, particularly on the outskirts of the capital, Port-au-Prince.
"We read stories about how people felt very unsafe at night, especially women and children," says Sreshta. Given Haiti's shaky electricity grid, the two women turned to the idea of solar power. They designed a number of solutions, large and small, but one idea really stuck; a small solar light which they calles the Luminaid.
The idea, like the product itself, couldn't be simpler. Luminaid is an inflatable plastic bag, about the size of a small pillow. In an exterior pocket, Sreshta and Stork fitted a solar cell, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, and one single LED. It has one switch, which can be set to off, low and high. Depending on the sunlight, the battery can fully charge in two to three hours. On the low setting, Luminaid can give light for about six hours. On the high setting, it lasts around four hours.

Nokia plans November launch of new Lumia Phones

Nokia is going to launch sale of Nokia smartphones this November with hope to get into the most profitable phone market. The biggest competetive os Lumia in present time is new iphone 4s which came out January 13, 2012. Nokia became stronger company since it bought right to use smartphone programm despite most of the mobile phone companies including Sumsung, which are forced  to pay for plagarism a massive amount of money to Apple.

Since Iphone 5 is going to come out this 25 of september it probably is going to become most popular product on phone market for 5 or 6 months, which will cover the release date ( 13 of January) of Lumia, which decreases Nokia's chances to get into the most profitable phone market.
